At Breakaway we encourage our athletes to commit to a strength program that enhances their performance and helps prevent injuries. We created the open gym time to provide our clients with additional opportunities to work on strength on their own schedule.
For those athletes that are unable to attend scheduled coached workouts frequently enough to maintain a sufficient strength routine, our open gym time is a great supplement to your training. We will provide written workouts that are specific for runners and cyclists. The workouts are not coached, but during the open gym time a coach is available to answer questions.
Equipment includes jump ropes, physio-balls, medicine balls, dumbbells, agility hurdles, thera-bands and more.
